Morpheus Win IBM 'Rising Star' Award.
October 22nd, 2003 Morpheus today announced that they have been awarded the prestigious 'Rising Star' award from IBM. The award recognises IBM Business Partners who have made a significant impact to IBM software over the past year. The award was presented by Larry Hirst, General Manager IBM UK & Ireland and Chief Executive, IBM UK Ltd, at the IBM Business Partner Community Conference held at the new IBM London Forum in Bedfont, Staines, UK. When selecting finalists for this award, the judges listed our notable WebSphere based implementations at Majestic Wine Plc and Puma UK as providing key references for the IBM WebSphere brand. The associated revenue to the IBM Software Group, with Morpheus exceeding their attainment target, was also noted. “Morpheus have been awarded this accolade for the contribution they have made to IBM software in building innovative WebSphere solutions and for the increased new business they have delivered.” commented Colette McDonnell, Business Partner Sales Manager, Software Business, DCM North Region, IBM.
