The Client
Triton is the UK's leading shower manufacturer. Established in 1975, the company has earned a reputation for product excellence and a focus on innovation, quality and value for money.
The Solution
The company's existing web presence, enabling customers to register purchases for guarantee purposes and buy shower spares online, was managed by a third party and changes were difficult to make and costly. Triton decided to bring the system in-house and chose IBM WebsphereT software to facilitate rapid changes to the system and its content. Morpheus was recommended to Triton as a business partner with the right expertise and approach to make the system a success. Morpheus developed a way to link products in the company's Commerce database to an exploded image of a shower, showing all parts, making it easier for customers to select the parts they need and link straight through to the product detail. Orders are placed in a back-end order processing system and the customer benefits from a secure payment system.
Triton needed to ensure a consistent match between the frequently changing guarantee card and the web-based version. Again, Morpheus provided the solution. A set of database tables makes adding new products easier, and collects the correct information for the guarantee, e.g. shower type and model, power rating etc. Previously any changes could have taken up to ten days, now they are completed within half a day.
“We found working with Morpheus delightfully relaxed and flexible. They are easy to deal with and very focused on what we wanted and needed. What they delivered was a very high quality solution to our issues. I would definitely recommend working with Morpheus.” — Mark Harris, IT Manager, Triton Showers
The Result
Triton has regained control over the content and direction of its web-based ordering system thanks to the efforts of the in-house team and Morpheus. The company benefits from autonomy over its own system, which is fast and easy to update. The quality of management information has also increased as more people register products, providing more information about customers and their buying behaviour.
