The Client

Ivobank is an independent bank established to provide financial products and services to meet the everchanging needs of customers managing and moving their money online. The Ivobank team consists of people with backgrounds in financial services and online payment services. This broad range of expertise allows Ivobank to tailor its solutions to meet the unique needs of all customers and merchants worldwide.

The Solution

Morpheus worked with Ivobank to design and implement a services based architecture linking a dynamic web application with the core banking systems. IBM WebSphere was chosen as a robust, scalable platform on which to deploy the applications in order to deliver a secure, reliable and versatile online payment and banking service.

The application comprises a marketing site, a secure customer site, a secure merchant site and a merchant interface. Features of the application include an electronic wallet, the ability to make domestic and international payments, direct money transfers, access to account information plus online and downloadable statements. The Merchant Interface application provides a web interface for Ivobank's customers to move money instantly from their e-wallet to supported merchants.

The Result

Ivobank is a new bank, offering fast and secure online payment and money transfer services. Ivobank is believed to be the first new, independent bank, to be authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) since the dotcom boom in 2001. This new online bank makes it easy to move money between merchants and other Ivobank customers, within a secure online environment.

Ivobank has been launched in the UK, Spain, Republic of Ireland and Canada with more countries being added in the coming months.
