St Andrew's Group, a member company of HBOS, is one of the UK's leading payment protection insurers.

Since 1996, St Andrew's has been underwriting payment protection products for personal and business customers. Most of St Andrew's products are sold via their corporate clients, such as banks, building societies and finance houses.

The Objective
St Andrew’s sell travel insurance on behalf of several clients, and needed a flexible online system that would enable them to add new products with different rate tables and cover details for various clients.

The Solution
Morpheus worked with St Andrew’s to develop an easy-to-use quotation facility that matched their requirements. The system integrates with St Andrew’s own policy programmes to provide reliable insurance quotes. Updates to the system can be made quickly and easily by St Andrew’s personnel.

Subsequently, St Andrew’s expanded their remit to offer a bill protection facility to their clients. Morpheus developed an online facility whereby multiple ASU (Accident, Sickness & Unemployment) insurance products such as Bill & Mortgage Payment Protection can be purchased over the Internet. Particularly important to the solution was that it should incorporate a direct debit facility.

A number of St Andrew’s clients have shown interest in using the application, which can be customised to fit with a client’s corporate identity.
