Morpheus Finalist for IBM Software Beacon Award

10 February, 2004

Morpheus today announced that they have been short listed as a finalist for the IBM 2004 Beacon Awards.

The solution from Morpheus has been picked from hundreds of entries as a finalist in 'The Best IBM iSeries on demand Solution' category.

The Beacon Awards is IBM's most significant way to acknowledge the breadth of their Business Partners' expertise and the value they provide to customers worldwide. Each year, finalists for these prestigious industry awards are recognised for excellence and innovation in e-business hardware and software solutions, and services.

Advanced and Premier IBM Business Partners from all PartnerWorld communities submitted nominations in 24 categories and each nomination was critically assessed by a panel of IBM executives, and leading industry and press analysts who selected three finalists in each category.

The winners will be announced at the IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards Invitational to be held on Monday, March 1, 2004, at PartnerWorld 2004 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

Finalists and winners will receive a hand-cut crystal award along with notable honours.

"Since we started the company over six years ago, winning a Beacon Award has always been an ambition of ours. It's even in our business plan! To all IBM Business Partners, the Beacon Awards represent excellence in our field. Being selected as a finalist in such a new technology area as 'on demand e-business' makes this even more satisfying." Joanna Read, Marketing Director, Morpheus.
