Morpheus win Small Business of the Year

6 February, 2004

Morpheus today announced that they have won 'Small Business of the Year', in the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead Business Excellence Awards.

Small businesses play a vital role in the economy of the Royal Borough. The Small Business of the Year Award is designed to recognise the contribution and success of this sector. The judges were looking for a clear understanding of the market, creative solutions to issues and a dynamic management team.

The finalists all attended an awards dinner at Royal Ascot Racecourse, where the winners were announced.

Morpheus was also a finalist in the 'Performance Through People' category.

For this entry Morpheus had to identify where workforce development is embedded into its business culture and demonstrate how performance has been improved through staff development and training.

“We entered these prestigious awards as it was a chance to benchmark our performance alongside our peers in this region. Being shortlisted was an honour in itself. I believe our record of continued growth, coupled with our recognition within the competitive IBM channel, made us a deserving candidate to win.” Joanna Read, Marketing Director, Morpheus.
